KILLZONE 2 - Case Study

 
 

Sony wanted epic developer content for the release of Killzone 2 – our brief was to get the developers out of the studio, to create stylish, innovative and polished developer content that really represented the excitement and immersion of the game. These developer diaries set a new benchmark for Making Of content and were highly praised by the gaming press and audience for their high production values

To create seamless integration between gameplay and interviews, we decided on a location that perfectly reflected the world of Helghan – a disused nuclear missile base. Painstaking game capture sessions and careful compositing allowed us to insert the game world into our live action footage, and working closely with the developers in pre-production to nail content details gave us a finished product that was truly innovative in its execution, but never distracted the viewer from the messaging and content.
