Will Jeffery / Managing Director

Will graduated from film school in 1989 and set up Maverick in 1995 having worked as a producer at Working Title and other independent production companies. 

Following Maverick's success, Will established a Japan office earlier this year; strengthening Maverick's reputation as one of the world's foremost viral producers.
Will has also established a number of other media companies including Traffik, The Viral Chart and The Viral Awards.

Deric Sydenham / Client Services Director

Deric worked as an Account Director at Tangozebra (now Google) for several years and takes great pride in delivering creative into the digital space. He feels it's a natural progression to join Maverick as Client Services Director where he is excited to be working with people that share his passion for delivering the best service and creative clients deserve.

Seamus Masterson / Creative Director

After gaining his film degree, Seamus spent a brief period making pop promos for his own company before joining Maverick as a director and writer. Since then he has amassed an extensive body of commercial and viral credits in the UK and overseas.
More recently he has stepped away from the camera to take on the role of Creative Director with the task of overseeing all of Maverick's’ creative output – with particular emphasis on the converging roles of advertising, film making and game production.

Robin Mackay Miller / Finance & Administration Director

Originally a Literary Agent handling exclusive rights in the UK for both United Media (syndication of Peanuts and Garfield) and Gemstar (licensing of VideoPlus+), then Projects Manager on the localisation of Encarta and other Microsoft CD-ROM projects, he moved on to set up worldwide distribution for PC CD-ROM games publisher Sold Out as Finance & Administration Director.

Robin now oversees the growth of Maverick both in the UK and Overseas.

Liz Martin / Client Services/Business Development Manager

Liz has been with Maverick since November 2004, previously working within the company as a Producer on jobs for clients such as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Koch and Electronic Arts.  Liz comes from a background in live TV, commercials and post-production.

Liz was voted a ‘top 30 under 30’ by MCV Magazine.

Katie Valentine / Account Manager

Katie joined Maverick from creative agency Egovision, working in digital marketing. There she gained experience of viral and seeding campaigns, and worked with various home entertainment clients such as Contender Entertainment Group and Anchor Bay. Clients at Maverick include Disney Interactive Studios, EA, Codemasters and WBIE.




Chris Chapman / Senior Producer

After university Chris Chapman joined the Royal Marines before heading to Soho to follow his passion for advertising. After 8 years of working his way up as a freelance runner/ PA/ PM he became a commercials producer before joining Maverick as their Senior Producer. He has been very happy to hold this position and we are very glad to have him.

Katie Grayson / Producer

Katie joined Maverick as a producer in February of 2008 and we are excited to have her in the Maverick team

Sarah Ross / Producer

Sarah Ross has been working with Maverick since 1998 producing projects across commercials and virals, trailers and on-line.


Monica Domanska / Production Assistant

Monica moved to the UK after a hedonistic youth in Poland, promoting music events and working part time for an agency. After learning her trade with some of the most esteemed post houses in Soho including Ascent and Rushes, Monica has joined Maverick to assist the producing team with all aspects of our hectic production schedule.

Joel Crookes / Production Assistant

Joel comes to Maverick from previous work as a Video Production Assistant and Live Match Editor. He graduated from John Moores University in Liverpool and his interests include DJing, collecting records and basic web design.

Louise Gagen / Freelance Producer

Lou is a regular freelance producer with Maverick. Hailing from a promo and broadcast background, Lou has worked on a range of programmes, promos, and commercials, producing and directing for such folk as the BBC, MTV, Sky, Lancome, Diesel and Lucas Films.

Lou loves, in no particular order: raucous and random punk, funk & rock, Germans, risotto and cult author Kurt Vonnegut who once asked: why is bird poop white?

Lucie Friar / Creative Development Manager

Lucie Friar has been working as a Producer and Production Manager for Maverick since August 2005, working with clients such as Midway Games, Ubisoft, SCEE and Electronic Arts. Previously she worked freelance in television commercials production and also produced a low budget feature film.

Jessica Crockett / Creative Co-ordinator

Jessica originally hails from Canada and joined Maverick after working in sports production. She enjoys golf and montages.

Martin Wawrzyczek / Online Manager

Martin joins Maverick from a career within the world that is 'buzz'. As 'Online Maverick' Martin will keep his finger on the pulse of blogs, social networking platforms and intends to scour the net on one mission: Innovation.

After finishing school Rachel went to London college of fashion and now works as our lovely receptionist.

Michael Clay / Media Technologies Manager

Fresh off the boat from two years' post-production experience in Sydney, Mike snuck through Immigration to join Maverick as their tech-guy extraodinaire.

In his spare time he has been known to pump out the odd viral video. Most recently he shot & edited the 2007 Sydney Film Festival vodcasts.

Production Vacancy / Producer

Producer
In excess of £40K per annum for the right candidate. £25-33K basic + bonus/incentive + benefits.

Maverick are looking for an experienced Producer to drive our various client projects across Trailers, TV Commercials, Viral and Branded Content. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our expanding Production Department and offers plenty of opportunity to work on both traditional and digital briefs for our exciting and prestigious range of clients.

You will be responsible for running a cross-section of post production/ projects including managing editors, directors, motion graphics and animators as well as external creative suppliers, picture post and audio facilities. You will liase directly with our Creative, Technical and Account Handling departments as well as our clients.

Essential Skills/ Experience:
You must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
You will have a track record bringing projects in on time, on budget and with creative merit.
You will be a self starter, very organized with a high attention to detail and passionate about production and post production, with strong project management skills.
You will have a good understanding of advertising in general and a natural affinity with the creative process.
You must have strong management skills and be comfortable dealing with clients at a senior level as well as nurturing junior staff through the company.
This position would suit someone who may have knowledge/experience or previously worked as one of the following: Post production Facilities Producer, Ad Agency Producer, Post Production Producer, Promo Department.

Responsibilities/Duties:
Project budgeting, scheduling, appointing and managing key creative talent and suppliers including editors, directors, motion graphics etc, supervise on-line edits, direct voice recording sessions, BACC submissions, commercial playouts, client liaison, managing and delegating to Production Assistants, coordinating with Maverick's Creative, Technical and Account Handling departments.

Qualifications/Skills:
High level of education (degree preferred). Word/Excel/Outlook knowledge essential. Thorough understanding of post production techniques (HD), on-line picture and audio post production is essential. High level of attention to detail in administration and communication.

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of Final Cut and HD post production an advantage as would experience of on-line web and rich media projects. Knowledge of games and or entertainment industry (e.g. film/music/etc) preferable.
